This year was with BOB no.34067 'Tangmere' (a late replacement for Britannia no.70013 'Oliver Cromwell') on a Steam Dreams tour to Weymouth. The route was Clapham Junction-Staines-Woking-Winchester-Southampton Central-Weymouth and return through to London Waterloo. On the outward leg we were close to time through, a 20 min late departure from Weymouth in the evening was wiped out by Southampton Central water stop with some fast running, clocked at 72mph through Moreton, 76mph through Brockenhurst and 78mph through Ashurst.
