Being a part owner of Eddystone it is always good to see her in steam doing a worthwhile job of work. Being in Australia it is hard to get to see her in the flesh as it were. Hopefully next year a trip to UK is on the cards.

Very true, also I believe limited to 25mph anyway! It was a very wet day and I tried something a little different for my last picture of the day, a side on view. Hope you like it!!

Thank you for your kind comments, I am pleased with that one. You may have noticed I saw them from the bridge just north of Groombridge also, a little run down the road to make the photo!

It could have been a good shot but it looks as if the shutter speed was to slow, and as a result the front of the engine is blurred.

Might be something I need to play with but I think it was because I held down the focus button just to long before taking the shot because my fingers had gone a bit numb!!

I enjoyed looking at your pictures very much. I did see the train pass over the bridge just before Godalming station and could not believe my eyes. I liked very much the one of the train going through Worplesdon, its a pity about the modern train but this could be easily rectified in Photoshop Many thanks Roy Baverstock

Thanks Roy! Yes I like that one too, I havnt really got a clue how to use Photshop or anything like that so all that ever happens to any of my pictures is a little crop sometimes!

I wasnt actually! I dont have one. just normal optical zoom on my camera taken in landscape format, cropped to portrait to lose most of the un-intresting suround to the tunnel, enhanced using basic software and put in black & white to hide the lack of colour on a dull day!
